Meet “Iron Joe” Gautreaux, the inventor of the Overlock Storage Protection System!

“I had a background in auto body repair. Having the ability to cut two totalled cars in half to make one straight repaired vehicle gave me the insight to do almost anything when I set my mind to it. After changes in the auto repair business, I decided to go into the home repair business — seeing there was a great need for honest contractors!

In 2008, I focused on iron work for builders and architects in the Dallas, Texas area, creating many one of a kind fences, stair railing and landscape pieces such as planter boxes and sculptures. I also did many art shows selling our iron designs. My company, Iron Nouveaux, has been going strong since! 

After many years of renting storage units to store expensive tools and product, I saw an increase in break-ins. Many contractors were losing thousands of dollars to theft.  Unfortunately the small cylinder locks on roll-down doors do not hardly provide any protection because they can easily be drilled out.  I decided to come up with a solution.  Thinking “outside the box” has always helped me solve problems!

I invented the OVERLOCK STORAGE PROTECTION SYSTEM (OVERLOCK) to deter criminals. I sold the system to several fellow contractors and everyone who purchased the OVERLOCK from me has not had a break-in!

So I recently obtained the patent pending on this product and developed a small company - Overlock Systems. I’m now proud to produce and sell it as a 100% American made product! Our OVERLOCK provides an extra layer of protection from break-ins and is very affordable! Just a fraction of the cost of insurance.
